We partnered with Disruption Summit Europe to create the Sustainable Innovation Lab. Created in a circular economy mindset and using closed loop principles the space housed talks and discussions on the innovation that is helping us all become sustainable.
“Ecobooth brought disruption in the form of innovative, sustainable design to the home of Disruption. what more could we ask for!”
Rob Prevett, CEO, Disruption Summit
Ecobooth joined ICE London, the UK’s largest B2B trade show, as the Official Sustainability Partner for the 2019 event. As part of this role, we developed and launched the ‘Graphics Amnesty’ whereby we collected single-use graphics from Exhibitors after the event and transformed them into picnic benches for a local school.
Further initiatives run by Ecobooth as part of the partnership included the re-purposing of 25,000 plastic name badges and creating and staffing a dedicated sustainable learning space for exhibitors and visitors to learn more.
“Finally a company that can help make our events sustainable!”
Kate Chambers, MD, Clarion Gaming Events
Sibos, the worlds premier financial services event, is coming to the UK for the first time in September 2019, and the organisers, Swift, have appointed Ecobooth as the Official Sustainability Partner.
Exhibitors have been invited to participate in a single-use graphics recycling scheme that will result in outdoor furniture being donated for green spaces within the local community as well as creating indoor green spaces for the event. Ecobooth will also record and advise on the events carbon footprint, as well as helping exhibitors recycle elements of their booth at the end of the show.
“Sibos is commited to reducing its environmental footprint and contributing positively to the communities that host the event and Ecobooth are now central to helping us achieve this.”
Chantal Van Es, Head of Sibos
RHS Hampton Court Flower Show
Ecobooth are working closely with the RHS (Royal Horticultural Society) to eradicate their plastic waste stream and re-purpose single-use plastic plant pots, compost bags and cable ties into furniture to use at the annual show.
This year, we created the Ecobooth Garden - a seating area featuring our ocean waste plastic furniture surrounding a 4m tall ocean waste plastic tree finished with the plastic plant pots left over from the installation of the show. These pots will be transformed into another space at the show in 2020.
“We’re proud to be working with the RHS on this groundbreaking project.”
